Load balancers are used to distribute traffic across cloud or other computing resources. The solution is suitable for ensuring high availability of cloud-native applications and other services. Hourly or monthly payment models are availbale. Cloud security is confirmed by the PCI DSS 4.0.1 international information security standard.
OrderChoice of balancing methods
You can choose the balancing method that suits you: LEAST_CONNECTION — new requests are sent to the resource node with the least number of connections, ROUND_ROBIN — distributes requests in order, SOURCE_IP — requests from one client are sent to the same resource node.
Choice of balancing protocols
The balancer operates at the 3rd and 7th OSI levels. The following protocols are provided: HTTP / HTTPS — for transmitting web traffic; TERMINATED_HTTPS — ensures traffic encryption at the balancer level, you must first download SSL certificates and encryption keys; TCP / SCTP / UDP — for data transfer at the transport layer.
Resource status check
For one balancer, you can create several types of checks for different target groups and resources. If one of the resource nodes is unavailable, the module redistributes traffic to other nodes of this resource.
Any endpoints
The balancer can be connected to both virtual machines of cloud servers and Kubernetes clusters, and resources located outside the PS Cloud platform.
